No. The OtoZen app does not make the phone completely unusable or lock the phone while driving.

Instead, OtoZen helps promote safer driving by providing useful feedback during and after trips. The app can send warning alerts while driving to encourage safer habits and help reduce risky behavior.

For trips recorded in Driver Mode, your connections can also receive notifications during the trip when certain driving events are detected, such as:

• Speeding
• Phone usage while driving

These real-time alerts help your connections stay informed and allow drivers to become more aware of risky driving behavior as it happens.

Note: Speeding and phone usage notifications are only available for Driver Mode trips. Your connections will not receive these driving behavior notifications for trips recorded in Rider Mode.

While OtoZen does not block phone access, its goal is to support long-term road safety through alerts, insights, and driving behavior feedback.
