If you’re setting up OtoZen for a child who cannot independently manage their account, follow these steps:
Install the OtoZen App on Your Child's Phone: Download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store on their phone.
Enter Your Child's Phone Number: During the setup, enter your child’s phone number to securely tie the account to their device.
Verify the Phone Number: A verification code will be sent via text message to your child’s phone.
- Tip: If your child’s Screen Time settings block texts from unknown senders, temporarily adjust the settings to allow the message. You can revert this after setup.
Complete the Setup Process: Follow the on-screen instructions to finish the setup and link your child’s account to your family group.
Teenagers who can set up the OtoZen app independently can follow the standard setup process, use their own phone number, and manage the account without additional parental steps.
Important: Each OtoZen account is tied to a unique phone number and can only be used on one device simultaneously. Make sure to use the correct phone number during setup.
