The OtoZen App has one of the lowest battery consumptions compared to several other apps that use location services. The App determines when a drive starts and "wakes" up, and until such time the App consumes minimal battery power. The OtoZen App works to make sure the GPS services are requested only when you are driving.

Most users should expect about 5% of battery power consumed for a 1-hour trip. This amount can vary depending on how often you have the app open during the drive, the phone type, and battery capacity.
We are constantly working to improve battery usage, so please make sure you have the newest version of the app.
