When your family member starts a trip, OtoZen shows a Live Activity on your iPhone’s Lock Screen and Dynamic Island (on supported devices), giving you real-time trip updates without opening the app.
Here’s how it works:
Trip Start Notification
You’ll get a Live Activity showing your Family Member's name and trip start time (e.g., “On a trip since 12:34”), along with a “Where to?” button.Set Destination and ETA
Tap “Where to?” to open the app and choose a destination (e.g., Home, Work, or pick from the map).
Once selected, you’ll see your Family Member's ETA (e.g., 7:29 PM) and a countdown timer (e.g., 43 min).Set a Nearby Alert (Optional)
You can choose to get notified when your Family Member is a certain time away (e.g., 5 minutes), a bell icon appears on the Live Activity.Live Updates
The Live Activity will keep updating with:Real-time ETA
Remaining time
Destination name
Arrival and Trip End
When your Family Member arrives or ends the trip, you’ll get the Live Activity updates to show “Arrived safely” with the final destination.
It then disappears automatically.

Your Family Member must have location sharing turned on in the app
