OtoZen lets you record trips specifically as a Supervising Rider or Student Driver to clearly identify learning or supervised driving sessions. These modes must be selected before a trip starts.

How to record trips as a Supervising Rider or Student Driver

To record trips in either of these modes, you must select the mode before driving:

How to Select:
OtoZen → Shortcuts → Drive Mode → Select Supervising Rider or Student Driver

  • Once selected, all future trips will be recorded in that mode

  • The mode stays active until you change it

What happens if I change the Drive Mode later?

  • If you switch back to Driver or Rider mode,
    → Supervising/Student mode turns off
    → New trips will be recorded as Driver or Rider

  • Trips recorded in Driver or Rider mode cannot be changed to Supervising or Student mode later

Can I edit the mode after a trip ends?

Yes — but only if the trip was recorded while Supervising or Student mode was active.

To change the mode after a trip ends:

  1. Go to History

  2. Select the trip you want to edit

  3. Tap the icon (top-right corner)

  4. Change the mode as needed

⚠️ Important:
If the trip was recorded while Driver or Rider mode was selected, Supervising Rider and Student Driver options will not be available for that trip.
