Speeding alerts are audio beeps that notify you when you exceed the speed limit.
Here’s how they work and how to manage them:
How Speeding Alerts Work:
- The alerts are played as audio beeps a few seconds after you cross the speed limits over the thresholds you have set under the Speeding Alerts Controls in the app.
- These audio beeps are played on the car speakers via Bluetooth/CarPlay or on the phone speakers.
Optimal Setup:
- Ensure your phone is connected to the car speakers via Bluetooth or CarPlay for the best hands-free audio beep experience.
- If not connected, make sure the phone volume is high enough to hear the alerts.
Controlling Speeding Alerts:
- Go to the OtoZen App > My Safety > Speeding Alerts.
- Here, you can control the thresholds and the rate at which you receive the speeding beeps.
- The minimum rate is one beep per minute.
Note: The speeding alerts are played as audio beeps and not as vibrations.
