This issue of zigzagged or jumping locations is typically due to inaccurate GPS data from the phone. Such inconsistencies can arise from various factors, such as hardware issues with the phone's GPS or glitches in satellite connections. Usually, phones flag such 'bad' GPS data, allowing apps like ours to discard it. However, in some instances, this data might be received as if it were accurate, making it challenging to filter out.

It's important to note that this isn't specific to our app; any application that relies on GPS data for location sharing can experience this issue. While we aim for accuracy in our location tracking, occasional GPS discrepancies from the phone are sometimes beyond our control. We continuously work to improve how we handle such data to minimize these occurrences.
